From the refuge you can make beautiful excursions and cross along the via ferrata E. Castiglioni n.321 and L. Brentari n. 358, these two perfectly aided via ferratas allow you to cross peaks and spiers in safety until you reach the 12 apostoli and T. Pedrotti refuges respectively, to then return to the refuge along other aided paths.
The most interesting excursion is undoubtedly the highest peak of the group, Cima Tosa, which with its 3,173 meters offers a breathtaking 360° panorama over a large part of Trentino.

Red route
The route indicated is a mountaineering path of great interest which allows you to follow the E. Castglioni via ferrata starting from the S. Agostini refuge (path 321) up to the bocchetta dei due denti mt. 2,870

Blue route
The ascent to Cima Tosa (mt. 3,173) along via Migotti (south\west side) lends itself as an excellent alternative to the classic normal “chimney” route from the south\east side, making the ascent more interesting

The Cima d’Ambiez located at the apex of the homonymous valley, is 20 min. walk from the Refuge.
Due to its exceptional solid and compact rock, it remains one of the most sought-after peaks in the Brenta Group. The more than 20 climbing routes that run through it bear witness to this.
The Cima D’Ambiez offers the most varied climbing difficulties, from the II – III degree of the “normal route” on the south ridge, to the more classic “via Vienna”, “Fox Stenico”, “Aste Salice”, “Concordia”, ” Satisfaction”, “Linea Nera”, “Bollicine”, “Goduria” and others, up to the most impressive “via degli overhangs”, “Perlage ’87”, “Positive Vibrazioni”, “Sogno Libero”.
